Halloween came and went! We had no trick or treaters whatsoever, and I wonder if it's because we didn't decorate this year. We haven't for the past two years we've been living here, but at the same time, I never saw any trick or treaters in this area in general. I know they exist, as my feed was full of people talking about them. I wonder if it's because people take their kids to the "richer" areas than ours, which is more on the lower middle class side.
Sad to think about, really. I loved trick or treating as a kid. Every neighborhood we went to was always packed with kids. As the years went on, well, I guess the Halloween spirit has kind of dwindled.
Anyway, I'm still trying to figure out how to decorate my office. I bought a gorgeous statuette I mentioned awhile back, and I want to put it on an altar of sorts. I have an idea as to how I'll fit the altar, but it's gonna require looking all over the city for a particular floating shelf that I think was discontinued. I have a very rough idea as to how I'll decorate this room.
